When too many wasps (guepes): Put ground coffee in a stone bowl or saucer and light it. then it melts and most wasps can't stand the smoke.

Mosquitoes: close the shutters inside the house: make sure that the plugs against mosquitoes are in the socket and that the window screens are always closed.

Outside garden: apply a good anti-mosquito spray (supermarket, drugstore or pharmacy). Specially in the evenings.
